Also, you can download an mp3 from youtube. Use Video2mp3 and just copy the address (press "Share" under the youtube video) and enter/paste the address.
How to Use Keepvid
Copy the URL from the youtube you want to save:
Paste URL into Keepvid. There will be three download buttons, I always choose the mp4 high quality. Mp4 is a good file type to upload onto EFL. BUT, if you do a regular left click on that download button, this box will appear:
The problem with this is, you can only click save, and you can't rename the file. So on my computer, the video gets saved to my desktop, and if I don't rename it right away, I have to click on it to play to see what I've got. The BETTER way is to right click on the download button. Then this box appears. Choose Save link as....
Now I can choose where to save the video on my computer, and I can rename it:
And it downloads onto my computer, in the file I have choosen:
