Thanks David for letting me share with you this great wiki. I've tried to introduce my colleagues to technology. I opened a wiki for this task http://oaxacanteflteachers.pbworks.com/ and another one for my class http://salondealvaro.pbworks.com/ buy eltandtech will be in my favorite list! Have a nice day and please, keep doing this wonderful work!
Thank you for this wonderful site. I have tried all kinds of software to make my classes learn more and I have to say that the best thing I have found is the Adobe extended which allows you create pdf files. The advantages are following:
a) everything is in one file
b) all the contents plays everywhere
c) those who like things on the paper can print it out.
d) You can insert video and flash and play it everywhere.
e) It can be highly interactive
You can see some examples of my work at my blog http://www.englishrot.com/?page_id=116.
Have a nice day

I'm not so sold on abode used in that way - but also think, whatever works for the teacher is best - so long as it accomplishes the objectives for the student.
I use adobe a lot but it makes more sense just to create a web page and use html. If you know it. Also many sites like Lingt (a full LMS) or glogster allow you to do basically the same thing but also with recording ability.
