Wallwisher

Page history last edited by David 13 years, 7 months ago

Wallwisher is a great way to get students writing and also a great evaluation tool.

Students or teachers can put up their own eNotes / post it notes,  onto a bulletin board. As they describe, "an Online Notice Board Maker". Very simple to use and students love how attractive they can make it! Easy to register, a 1 step process.
Some ways to use Wallwisher are:
- to survey students and get written responses
- as writing practice to discuss and issue or curriculum item
- as a place where students can introduce themselves
- as a "needs analysis" at the beginning of the year. Ask students what they want to learn and how...
- as a sharing place. Share videos, music, websites of interest, learning etc.....

Think about using Wallwisher with your students and giving them some input about the course, the textbook or the teaching/learning! Download this nice "How to use Wallwisher" guide and also see my recent Website of the Day post. Go HERE to find some more amazing ways to use Wallwisher!

Take a look how this teacher used Wallwisher with her students - about a lesson on dinosaurs. Students wrote what they learned - a great way to assess and get students thinking about their learning! Teachers could even put up a question and have students reply on the Wallwisher!
